I had a horrible time in a Japan train. I had accompanied my hubby who was on a business trip..I ventured out shopping alone and returned by the train…..i was already in a state of panic seeing the crowd when i got pushed and shoved in the compartment…i could barely see let alone move….the compartment was that packed….i was mashed between two middle-aged local men….anyway won’t make it long…the remaining part of my journey was a nightmare…i was dry humped, had a moving palm on my ass crack and my crotch till i was shoved out…..was shell shocked and almost in tears at the violation….it was relentless.

I am so sorry. This happened to me on a crowded NYC subway. I got off wept and wanted to shower all evening. It is horrible and with no where to move we make easy targets. But if it happens to me ever again I will become very loud and very verbal.

I am so sorry this happened to you, too. It happened to me in NYC, too. I didn’t realize it was happening until it was too late, that was the worst part.

If you had kicked up a fuss it would have absolutely mortified the harassers too, most likely, the Japanese train-gropers are taking advantage of a strong cultural reticence to make a scene in public and pretty much expecting their victims to all remain quiet. They’ve gone so far as to run women-only train cars on some lines.

That is nasty! I’m sorry that happened to you.

sorry about that but, you should have said something!! don’t stay quiet about injustice and crime, especially if it happens to you. if you would have hollered i’m sure someone would have done something. if that didn’t work i would hit the hand that’s trying to touch me
